My Hb's up to 8.4g/dl after the transfusion. Given the maximum concentration of Recormon available at 40 000U.

3rd Day of IVIG Course.

Continued with my last day IVIG course. However, I needed another blood transfusion as well because my Hb is only 5.8g/dl.

So ended up spending the whole day at the Haem. Centre. So knackered!

IVIG Course.

Since it's Saturday, the Haematology Centre's only open until midday, so had to come in at 8am to get started on my IVIG. Took 5 hours to have all 5 bottles run through. Had to have breakfast in bed, in the non-romantic sense!

Back At The Haematology Centre.

Back to square one.

Early morning at 9am. My Hb's 7.9g/dl after Wednesday's transfusion. Dr. Goh wants to have another Bone Marrow Aspiration done. Oh hell! Just what I need.. another poke into my bone! Loverly!!! Oh God!! Why do needles have such an affinity on me?

After I wake up, I'm immediately started on an IVIG course. This time it's gonna be done over 3 days, just to give my bone marrow an ASS KICKING! My veins have just about had it!

Brunei To Singapore.

Yes, here I am again flying back.... when's it gonna end?

Blood Transfusion.

Needing a blood transfusion today, since my Hb's been progressively going down since being in Brunei. I am NOT yet cured.

When I first arrived home my Hb was 7.8g/dl, the following week it went down to 6.9g/dl, the following week it went down further to 6.3g/dl and today it's only 5.4g/dl, hence the blood top up.

And the doctors here are really beginning to annoy the hell out of me! They are sooo unsupportive! One even had the nerve to say that my transplant FAILED!! The nerve! My creatinine is great, thank you very much!! I guess the doctors are just sore because I trust my doc in Singapore more than them. Well, they were there since the beginning of my transplant! Of course I trust them more than you buggers! Hrrrmmppphh!!!
