Free At Last!
Today is exactly 3 weeks since I was admitted into hospital. I really, really hope my blood test is ok, cos I WANNA GO!
Good news said the Dr. They're discharging me today! I have a 2pm appointment with Dr. Vathsala, then I'm free to go.
After collecting my prescription, we finally leave. It is about 6pm when we reach the apartment.
I notice that my appetite has increased significantly. Perhaps the freedom of not being under the watchful eye of the doctors and nurses, plus the knowledge that I now have access to NON-HOSPITAL food, has given me the motivation to eat (ie. junk food and basically non-healthy food!) Naughty! Naughty!
At night, still had difficulty getting in and out of bed. I have been so dependent on the automatic hospital bed. My dad had to help me out whenever I woke up to pee. Plus, the baby's flu is making me nervous, so mask on,but extremely happy to see him again. He seems to have missed me as well.
