Laparoscopic Assisted Colectomy
Pretty much kept my m.i.l. company in hospital today. My hubby and I arrived at 11am, followed up with our booking for an individual room, so m.i.l. can rest properly tonight.
Didn't get to move into the room until after 2pm. Cuold see m.i.l's demeanour change immediately. Those public bays in the ward just ins't conducive to a feeling of well-being. I know she felt much better in a room of her own.
Today, her liquid only diet has been moved up to a CLEAR liquid only diet, ie. plain 'ol boring water. She's also been started on her i.v. drip, but I don't think it helped her hunger.
Left around 3pm for Zuhur & Asar. Then had to accompany my mom to a function at 5pm, came home about 6.45pm for Maghrib and 'Isya. Then left for the hospital again at 8pm and stayed until 11pm.
