Last Week In Singapore?
Didn't hear the alarm go off, woke up around 6.30am to leave for the hospital for my blood test. Went back to the apartment right after (but not before getting me a couple of chicken pies from Polar!)
My dad gave my hubby and me a thousand bucks each! (Oh! Happy Days!!) Immediately went out shopping. Hopped on the apartment's 12pm shuttle bus to Shaw Centre.

Dropped in to Isetan, bought myself gold diamante sandals on sale for $120, then proceeded to spend $370 at Marks & Spencer's, $160 at Esprit, $200 at John Little plus $50 on miscellaneous stuff. That's $900!! *sharp intake of breath* Not only can I NOT control my appetite, I can't control my spending! Better stop spending so much (she keeps telling herself!), so decided to go home after leaving Plaza Singapura.

I was the first to walk into the apartment, and there was this HUGE bouquet of flowers and basket of fruit (the biggest I'd ever seen or had the pleasure to receive).

Stuffed ourselves with cherries, lychees and grapes at 1am! There were also mangoes, Korean apples, plums, pears, big oranges, mini oranges, custard apples, packs and packs of fruit, it filled the entire dining table!! Mom plans on bringing some of the more expensive fruit back home! Such a pleasure to eat, they were so fresh and juicy sweet.
